Poland Mobility
On May 13 - 17, 2024, we hosted teachers from Spain, North Macedonia and Turkey in our school. It was a partnership exchange as part of the Erasmus+ project 'NewTechnolo 4Fgies4Climate'. During their stay, the teachers visited the school, watched the artistic program performed by the students and then participated in the "Laboratory of the Future - Empiriusz" classes, led by Mrs. A. Bałękowska. The next point was the robotics lessons ''New Technology - using programming to take care of the climate - 'Robots in the service of climate change', conducted by Ms. Renata Chlibiuk, and 'Water Filtration' - experiences by Mr. Andrzej Szczepanek. The second part of the day was the Ecological Forum, during which representatives of partner schools gave presentations on ecological activities in their institutions. Afterwards, there was a debate during which students of our school asked the guests questions. For the needs of the program, teachers created ecological quizzes that will constitute teaching material.
On the next day, the guests visited RADPEC - Radomskie Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej, toured the plant, were introduced to the company's business profile and investments aimed at improving air quality. They came to school again, where they watched a film about the Life for Radom program - related to the largest pro-ecological investment in the Radom region implemented with EU funds. Teachers took part in robotics workshops conducted by Ms. Renata Chlibiuk using LegoMindstorm robots, during which they built an ecological garbage collection truck.
As part of cultural education, teachers went to Krakow and Wieliczka. The salt mine made an incredible impression on visitors. Krakow charmed guests with its unique atmosphere. In Krakow, they learned about the activities of FabLab - an open workshop where you can invent, design and implement your ideas using equipment such as 3D printers, milling machines, lasers, embroidery machines, etc.
At the end of their stay in Poland, the group visited Zakopane - the winter capital of Poland!
